FAQs

We keep our process simple and transparent. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
What types of properties do you buy?

We buy a wide range of properties for cash, including houses, flats, bungalows, and ex local authority homes. We also buy properties in any condition, including homes with issues such as Japanese knotweed or subsidence.

The only type of property we do not buy is retirement property. Aside from that, we can make a fair cash offer on almost any home.

How fast will I receive the money?
The money will be transferred as soon as the sale is agreed and completed, on a timescale that suits you, whether that is five days or five weeks.
Will I need a solicitor?

Yes. You can use a solicitor of your choice, or we can recommend a reliable solicitor near where you live. We will cover all of your legal fees, so you will not have to pay anything.

I’m about to be repossessed, is it too late?
It is not too late, we can help, but please get in touch as soon as possible. The sooner you contact us, the more likely we will be able to stop the repossession from going ahead.
Do I need to complete lots of paperwork?
We do not ask you to sign anything upfront. You only need to complete the standard legal documents required for any property sale, which will be handled by your solicitor.
Can I change my mind?

Of course. There is no obligation to proceed after you receive our offer. You can change your mind at any time if you are still unsure, and we will be happy to talk through any concerns and reassure you where we can.

Will I get less than market value?
As a property buying business, we do not pay full market value. We buy properties at a discounted price, based on factors such as the property’s location and condition. We also look at recent sale prices in the area and the current market. Before we make a final cash offer, we may carry out a drive by survey at our own cost. Each property is assessed on its own, and we will offer the highest amount we can.
How long does a quick house sale take?

As we are fully funded cash buyers, we can usually complete in as little as five days. If the property is freehold, we may be able to complete within 48 hours, depending on how quickly the solicitors can move things forward. If the property is leasehold, it can take up to 10 days, as the management pack needs to be obtained from the managing agent.

We can also complete on a timescale that suits you, whether that is days, weeks, or months.

I have a poor credit rating will you still buy my house?
Absolutely. Your financial circumstances will not affect the sale.
Does anybody have to know about the sale?
No. We offer a discreet and confidential service, and the only people who need to know are you, us, and the solicitors.
Do I need to tell the repossessors that I am selling?
No, you do not need to worry about that. We will contact them on your behalf.
My property has been on the market for 6 months or more - will you still be interested in buying it?

Yes. Unlike estate agents and online estate agents, we are fully funded. We will agree a price with you and then transfer the funds to a solicitor of your choice.

How will we use the information collected?
We collect information about you to process the sale of your property, manage your account, and contact you about the services and offers we provide. We may share information from this website with our trusted sister company, UK National Properties Ltd, to help us carry out any steps needed for the sale of your property. They have the necessary data protection policies and procedures in place.
Do you charge for valuations and are there any fees, charges or hidden costs?

No. Unlike estate agents, there are no valuation fees and no hidden costs. We pay all of your legal fees for the sale of your property. We will simply make you a free, no obligation cash offer. If the offer does not meet your needs, you are free to walk away.
